Ugandan Opposition Leader Bobi Wine has finally left Nsambya Hospital after being discharged. He was admitted there after he was allegedly shot by police officers while campaigning.
From the video which was widely circulated online, Wine was seen calling for help while om the ground. His team lifted him up and was escorted to hospital where surgery was done.
Well, today on Tuesday, September 4, 2024. He was hurriedly discharged from hospital after spending a night. He has told Ugandans why he took such decision despite needing more time to recover from there.

He claimed that police officers raided the hospital which he was admitted in harassing doctors. They were allegedly demanding his medical report and even tried to enter his room. They were stopped by his supporters.
He therefore decided to leave hospital immediate for his own safety and that of other patients at the facility. He will now continue with treatment at home as recorded by doctors who attended to him.
Bobi Wine Surgery.
He reported that the surgery was successful and some foreign bodie were removed from the leg after shooting incident. He did not mention if it was the bullet or specific objects.
