Not once, not twice but severally, Raila Odinga has been on the presidential ballot in the country but the bad thing is that he has been failing. After he was beaten to the top seat by Ruto in the 2022 general election, many Kenyans thought that it would be Raila’s last time on the ballot but to their surprise, a bigger opportunity for Baba to serve presented itself as he confirmed his candidacy for the African Union Chairperson seat.
For months now, the former Prime Minister has been campaigning seriously for the position and today, he made a move that may end up boosting his chances of winning the seat.
As reported by Pauline Njoroge through her official Facebook account, Raila Odinga today was out of the country as he met Mauritius Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam. It is said that Baba travel to the foreign Nation to thank the Prime Minister for his country’s solid support and commitment towards his AUC bid, something that will definitely strengthen the relationship between the two top leaders and give Baba a boost in his AUC bid.
