Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino has once again stirred political debates following his recent remarks during a Linda Mwananchi movement tour in Homa Bay County.
The opposition-aligned group took its regional political drive to Sindo, Homa Bay County, despite stern warnings from local area MP Peter Kaluma, who had explicitly asked the delegation to stay out of his constituency.
Undeterred by the host leaders’ warnings and reports of organized goons blocking key transit routes, the Linda Mwananchi team proceeded with their planned rallies.
However, a viral video recorded during the Sindo stopover has triggered wide discussions across social media platforms. Addressing the gathered crowd, Babu Owino directed local boda boda riders to form a forward vanguard, leading the convoy along the highway toward Homa Bay town.

In the video, the lawmaker instructed the motorcycle operators to take the front line and confront any goons attempting to disrupt the procession, promising that the main vehicle fleet would follow closely behind.
