Former Presidential Advisor Moses Kuria has finally responded to criticism from former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua regarding his controversial appearance at a recent Akorino event held at State House Nairobi.

Kuria sparked public debate after attending the function dressed in full Akorino regalia, despite not being a member of the Akorino faith.

The event, hosted by President William Ruto, was meant to celebrate and recognize members of the Akorino community. However, Kuria’s attire drew mixed reactions, with some questioning the authenticity and seriousness of the event.

“I was simply appreciating the culture and faith of my friends who invited me,” Kuria stated, insisting that there was no ill intent behind his choice of clothing.
