COTU secretary general Francis Atwoli has finally emerged at the home of the late Rt. Honorable Raila Odinga.
This is coming just hours after rumours emerged that the vibrant trade unionist was admitted in the hospital.
Atwoli has been silent for a while since the announcement of Raila’s death. Well, he has emerged with a message to Kenyans While at Opoda farm.

He also revealed how Raila Odinga saved his life when he was seriously sick. According to him, Odinga picked him from his home. Drove him to see the doctors and stayed at the hospital for about three weeks making sure that he was getting the right treatment and recovering well.
Speaking to the Journalists, Atwoli asked Kenyans to remain peaceful during this difficult time. He claimed that Raila Odinga was a peaceful man and in his death, he should be treated as such.
I want to ask all Kenyans to remain peaceful during these tough times. We are mourning someone who was vibrant in our political matrix. A man who was a glue to our political unity. We need to respect what he used to do by having a peaceful ceremony. Let us all do that in his honor as we lay him rest tomorrow.” Said Atwoli.
