Trouble For Wetangula And Mudavadi As Natembeya Makes A Bold Declaration
NAIROBI, Kenya — The political landscape of the vote-rich Western region is staring at a major shake-up following a bold declaration by Trans Nzoia Governor, His Excellency George Natembeya.
In a newly surfaced video that has sent shockwaves through the political establishment, Natembeya announced plans to unveil a brand-new political lineup next week.
The strategic move aims to systematically dismantle the decades-long dominance of National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula and Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi.

For years, Mudavadi and Wetangula have positioned themselves as the ultimate political kingpins of the Mulembe nation, directing the region’s voting patterns during general elections.
However, Governor Natembeya now asserts that their long tenure at the helm has yielded no meaningful fruits for the local residents.
“Kenyans are tired of being used by political figures with perennial targets that only benefit themselves,” Natembeya stated, emphasizing that the region needs fresh, development-oriented leadership at both the regional and national levels.
A New Political Order
The Trans Nzoia county boss has been holding intensive, closed-door consultative meetings with various stakeholders across the Western region to lay the groundwork for his new faction. He made it clear that the upcoming lineup will introduce a transformative political direction designed to take absolute control of Western Kenya’s politics.
Issuing a stern warning to local politicians, Natembeya declared that those who fail to align with his new team next week will be dealt with politically.
With the ground shifting rapidly, political analysts suggest that the impending declaration could permanently alter the region’s power dynamics and pose an unprecedented threat to Mudavadi and Wetangula’s long-standing empires.
