Protesting is a fundamental right enshrined in the constitution. Those protesting are protected by the law. However, are those protesting naked also protected by the law? This is a question of another day.
Well, we all protests for specific reasons, some will join the protests to protest against those Protesting. This has been seen on various occasions.
Well, today on Monday, September 2. People were treated to a wild protest, three ladies one naked and others in semi nude were arrested while protesting. They were headed to Parliament in a dramatic move.
Kampala City came to a stand still leaving residents watching is disbelief. Women police officers were Forced to swing into action and arrest them. They were bangled into police cars which raced towards police station.
Reasons For Protests.
They were protesting against poor leadership and rampant corruption within Ugandan rulling class. Few weeks ago, Police officers blocked roads leading to Parliament in anticipation of massive protests against national assembly speaker Ann. Those who protested and got arrested wanted her to resign.
