The Adani Jomo Kenyatta International Airport takeover is something that has elicited mixed reactions online.
Kenyans are not happy with the deal which was hidden for sometime until a Whistleblower came out exposing everything. Based in France, Amenya told Kenyans how the airport was being leased to indians for 30 years.
According to a new report. The government officials rejected the idea of having other private developers and only focused on Adani deal. They focused on it being agreed upon so quickly. This has elicited mixed reaction on who wanted the deal done so quickly and what are they benefiting.

While meeting members of the Senate. Chirchir claimed it was only Adani who presented their proposal. But with the current revelation, it means he lied to the general public on what really happened on the deal.
Kenyans are now asking President William Ruto to halt the Adani deal and invite other organizations with good deals. They are asking the ministry concerned to make everything public so that transparency can be appreciated in the whole process.

The Indian based group is seeking to takeover Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for 30 years. In their proposal, they are supposed to build a new terminal at JKIA and renovate other structures at a coat of about 1.8 billion dollars. They are also planning to retain a 18% ownership of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport which will be for life.
