Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and Wiper Party leader Honorable Kalonzo Musyoka hosted a close ally of President William Ruto at an undisclosed location.
Taking to the social media, the Nyali member of Parliament who has been on record defending President William Ruto praised Gachagua and Kalonzo signaling a possible coalition in the coming general election.
In 2017, Mohammed shocked many after losing the Orange democratic Party ticket in Nyali. He vied as an independent candidate and managed to secure the seat. He went on to publicly attack Raila Odinga and then Mombasa governor Joho for allegedly rigging him out of the nominations.

In the 2022 general election, he joined the United Democratic party and campaigned for President William Ruto vigorously until he won the seat. He also won the Nyali seat retaining it.
His association with Gachagua has been seen as a possibility of him running for Mombasa governor seat on a DCP or wiper party ticket. Many are claiming broad based government might field one candidate hence denying others an opportunity of being on the ballot.
