According to Oburu, it is disrespectful for Orengo to go against the ODM party directive on supporting the President of the republic of Kenya.
On his side, Orengo has maintained his position insisting that, it is a wrong idea for the opposition to join the government and not side with Kenyans. Well, it seems like the war is not over, it has Just started. Oburu Odinga has moved to court leaving Siaya residents shocked.

According to a report from the Siaya Court, Oburu Odinga and another petitioner have moved to halt a Mutumba market project which was launched by governor Orengo.
According to Oburu Odinga, the parcel of land that Orengo launched the project belongs to him and he has a lease of 99 years. It is therefore wrong for the county government of Siaya to move and contract a market on the same plot.
The presiding judge halted the construction of the market until further constitutions were made. The case will be mentioned on may 30, 2025.
