Speaking to Mount Kenya residents in Embu county. Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua sent a powerful message to them on what should Happen in case the Senate impeaches him from office come next week.
The Senate is supposed to sit on Wednesday, October 15, 2024 to listen to charges against him. Seemingly not bothered by the impending Impeachment threats, Gachagua had a strong message to all Kenyans.

Speaking in Embu at a church function. The second in command asked Mount Kenya residents to maintain peace and order despite any outcome from his Impeachment. He went on to claim that only God will save him from what human beings are planning against him and his people.
He sent an emotional plea to the courts asking them to be more vigilant and serve justice during that time.
“I know God will fight for us. Man can plan but we are all under almighty. He is the one who determines fate for everyone. I just want people to know that today.” Said Gachagua.
