Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has finally opened up on what he will do if National Assembly impeaches him from office. Speaking to journalists at his official residence Karen, Nairobi.
Gachagua made it clear why he was being impeached by laying bare facts in his defence. He dissected how the properties he is being accused to own belonged to his late brother who passed on in 2017.
Gachagua revealed that he will not stop fighting even if the Senate and national assembly impeaches him. He has vowed to continue seeking justice in courts to stop his removal from office.
“I am a truthful man who believes in justice. I believe in our Judiciary System and I will be seeking justice there to the end. Those thinking that will resign are jokers. I was elected by over seven million Kenyans and to remove me, they’ll need serious public participation” said Gachagua.
He promised to defend himself before national assembly and he will be there with his lawyers. He promised to be always truthful to Kenyans who elected him with President William Ruto.
