For the better part of the day, Kirinyaga County residents witnessed Protests. The protesters were calling on former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua to apologize to Women leaders.
In his speech, Gachagua While Embu County on Saturday claimed that Ruto is using Waiguru to scatter Mount Kenya Unity. He asked residents not to listen to her going forward and instead join the DCP party massively for the better negotiations.

Well, according to DCP ally Njeri Maina who is the Kirinyaga County Woman representative. Governor Ann Waiguru must stop using Women to fight her wars. Maina has claimed that it is not right for Waiguru to pay ladies only 500 shillings and Force then to roll on the roads in the name of protesting.
She has demanded that Waiguru stop doing that immediately and offer an apology to the Women he used.

Dear Gov. Anne Waiguru, I know you despise women from underprivileged backgrounds.
If you don’t, please carry your relatives to demonstrate in this inhumane manner next time.
These women are mothers, they may not be from rich families, but they’re human beings who should be treated with dignity.
I understand your ego is bruised, sorry, oops, sorry NOT sorry.
We will not allow you to shame the women of Kirinyaga county and indignify them in this manner.
Surely they’ve told me it’s for only Kshs. 500, you surely have looted enough to give them more without indignifying them.
To my mothers and sisters, I am truly sorry for the indignity you’ve suffered today. A female governor, an apparent proponent of ‘feminism’, has exploited your economic situation to take your dignity away.
This is perpetuating disrepute to all women.
