Speaking in Kitui County during the Eastern region tour with Kalonzo Musyoka and other leaders. Gachagua declared himself the United opposition spokesperson. This was the role initially assigned to Mukhisa Kituyi. Kituyi was appointed despite protests from a section of leaders allied to both Gachagua and Kalonzo.
” I want to say that from today, we agreed as the United opposition that is I’m the official spokesperson going forward. I will make sure that everything is good going forward. We must remain United for us to send President William Ruto and his administration home.” Said Gachagua.
