Meru County Governor Kawira Mwangaza has Been Impeached. 25 senators have voted to impeach Kawira sending her home. She has made history as the third governor to he sent home by the Senate of Kenya.
First Governor to be sent home was Waititu of Kiambu. Followed by Mike Sonko of Nairobi and now her of Meru.

Kawira was impeached by Meru County assembly for allegedly violating three key things. One of it being gross violation of the constitution which has toppled her. 25 senators who were present at the house. They agreed with the County assembly team that indeed she was guilty of that charge.
