President William Ruto and Orange Democratic party leader Honorable Raila Odinga Chaired a joint Parliamentary group meeting in Karen, Nairobi. The meeting which was supposed to be a friendly one turned out to be a heated lecture meeting.
The President, seemingly angered with what is happening within the corridors of Parliament called legislators out. He warned them from creating avenues to syphon public funds through groups such as ” Soko Huru” and committee welfare leaders.

According to the president, some people are making the legislative branch of government to be seen as a corrupt entity. He claimed that, those who received 10 million bribes In order to vote on the anti counterfeit bill will be arrested and prosecuted.
Well, just after lecturing the legislators, the President is expected to leave the country and his mission has been revealed.
According to reports from the government, the President will jet out of the country with his destination being Japan. He is expected to attend the Tokyo international conference on African Development. The event will take place in Yokohama.
