Today on October 13, 2024. Orange Democratic party leader Honerable Raila Odinga left Kenyans shocked after crying Publicly.
It all started when he started addressing Kenyans on what really happened in the past on the fight for democracy.
He recalled how some of his friends lost their lives in inhumane way in the hands of government operatives.
In the Video shared, Raila I seen shedding tears after recalling how his friends in detention were picked and killed by the government. He claimed they went to his cell to bid good-bye leaving him hurt broken by the gesture. Their offence was only fighting for maltipatism in Kenya during Moi era.

“Fighting for democracy has not been easy in Kenya. In 1982, we tried forming a different party from KANU. Our efforts were twarted by government operatives, many of my friends were arrested on daily basis. Some were slaughtered by the people after being sentenced to death by the courts. It was painful to say goodbye that time. We have struggled to help this country in all aspects.” Said Raila while crying.
