KILIFI, KENYA — A major security scare unfolded in Ganze, Kilifi County, after an unidentified man breached elite security barriers and charged directly toward President William Ruto during a live presidential address.
The President, who is currently on a high-profile development tour of the Coast region, was forced to briefly halt his speech when the determined citizen bypassed multiple layers of the Presidential Security Unit guarding the main dais.

As he reached the podium, the President’s bodyguards and Aide-de-Camp (ADC) acted swiftly, springing into action to intercept and restrain him.
