Drama as Gachagua Publicly Lectures MP in Church, Demands Repentance
GATUNDU SOUTH — Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua caused a stir online following a heated public exchange during a church service in Gatundu South, where he directly confronted and lectured an elected Member of Parliament.
In a widely circulated video clip, a visibly agitated Gachagua expressed his displeasure while pointing fingers at the lawmaker, who sat among leaders associated with the Democratic Civic Party (DCP). The former second-in-command did not mince his words, calling out Gatundu North MP Gabriel Kagombe (GG Kagombe) for his past political moves.
According to Gachagua, the legislator was among key figures allegedly bankrolled by state operatives to orchestrate violence and disrupt political rallies convened by DCP-aligned leaders over recent months.

The former Deputy President further turned his attention to Thika Town MP Alice Ng’ang’a, accusing her of using government-allocated funds to finance goons who attack innocent Kenyans and disrupt political gatherings.
Gachagua urged politicians abusing state resources to cease funding violence and focus on serving their constituents instead.
The dramatic encounter sparked widespread debate across political circles, highlighting escalating tensions within the Mt. Kenya region’s political landscape as leaders realign themselves ahead of upcoming electoral battles.
