Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has pressed a punic button on Mbeere North by-election. The by-election is expected to show Kenyans who is who in Mount Kenya region.
President William Ruto still believes he has a good following from the region despite throwing former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua from Kenya Kwanza administration.
Speaking during the book launch by the former speaker Justin Muturi. Gachagua claimed that President William Ruto has sent over 300 million to the people of Mbeere North with an intention of making sure that he secures the seat at all costs.

He has asked Justin Muturi to move with speed and make sure that the people of Mbeere align themselves with the United opposition agenda before it is too late.
Gachagua has promised to use Mbeere North as a litmus paper for what is coming to Ruto. By the opposition team capturing the seat. It will be a clear signal for the president that he will only manage to rule for one term.
