Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, former interior Cabinet Secretary Dr. Fred Matiang’i, former vice president Kalonzo Speaks, former Defence Forces Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa and Justine Muturi have finally converged just hours after Uhuru defended Gachagua.
While speaking in Murang’a, Uhuru made a rare gesture of asking his people in the Jubilee Party not to fire salvos at former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
Well, the opposition team has converged at the Muturi’s book launch. This time round, all of the United opposition team was president. Even former interior Cabinet Secretary Dr. Fred Matiang’i who has been missing some crucial opposition meetings was present.

Kalonzo Statement After Attending Muturi Book launch.
JB Muturi’s story reminds us that leadership is not only about power, but about principle — about holding firm when institutions are tested, and staying true to service above self. His reflections are a timely reminder of what it takes to build lasting order in public life.” Posted Kalonzo Musyoka.
Eugene Wamalwa Statement.
Thank you @HonJBMuturi for hosting us during your book launch tonight and sharing with us your inspirational decades long journey in Public Service,of fighting for Order across all the three arms of Government, from your Judiciary days as a Magistrate to your Legislative days as MP and later Speaker of the National Assembly, to the Executive as AG and CS.” Posted Eugene Wamalwa.
Gachagua’s Sentiment.
JB Muturi is a man of order besides his razor-sharp forthrightness.
His latest work, ‘The Fight for Order’, launched today at the Nairobi Club, which I had the honor to join and treated to a great literary discourse, speaks to a classical power intrigues, the economy of state craft and the need for honest leadership.
This is moreso in typical African countries embalmed in a cacophony of bad leadership, poor policymaking machinations, abuse of the rule of law and outright dishonesty.
JB’s work is an account of courage, an African dawn and a true reflection of how damaging uncontrolled power can be to an innocent nation with a dream and hope for its peace.
Congratulations my friend, JB Muturi, for sharing your knowledge with us and the courage to speak truth to the power.
You have demonstrated that a pen is mightier than a gun.
