Majority leader Honorable Kimani Ichung’wah today breathed fire in Bungoma county during the funeral of Wetangula’s mother. He took Natembeya head on leaving Kenyans asking questions if the funeral was a political rally.
He accused Natembeya of overseeing numerous abductions during his time as regional Police commander both in Nyanza and Rift valley. He told him to stop joining Gachagua in an attempt to destabilize the current government. Well, it seems like his sentiments have landed him in trouble.
Taking to his social media platform, Celebrated lawyer Donald Kipkorir has asked Kimani Ichung’wah to withdraw those harsh statements towards Natembeya. According to him, the platform was for burial and not political Activities. Him turning it to be about the president and who is more powerful was unfortunate.

“City lawyer Donald Kipkorir has dismissed claims linking Rigathi Gachagua and George Natembeya to abductions or “self-abduction” calling them “stupid and insensitive.”He urged the government to use its intelligence to bring abductors to justice.” Report.
“To claim Rigathi Gachagua and George Natembeya are the ones conducting abductions or that the abductees are self-abducting must be the most insensitive statement of 2025.
Government security apparatus has a monopoly of information and knows who the abductors are. They must have the abductors arranged soonest.” Posted Kipkorir.
