Raila Odinga camp has suffered a major blow just days after launching his AUC Candidature in Ethiopia. A few days ago, Odinga together with an entourage from Kenya held a colourful event in Addis Ababa Ethiopia.
He used the opportunity to ask other African leaders to rally behind him. He insisted that as AUC chair he good plans for the region.
According to a report by the Nation Africa, Odinga’s team is facing cash crunch. The team is struggling to raise enough funds that will be used in various activities.

He is expected to use shuttle diplomacy starting this month, in this mode of campaign, Odinga will be visiting each single President in Africa. The target is to convince as many as possible for the better chances of winning.
The President might be forced to chip in to help his political brother achieve his dream of leading Africa. President William Ruto has also been moving around selling Raila Odinga to different heads of states across the world.
He travelled with Odinga to China a few months ago where he met various leaders from Africa. He used that opportunity to ask for their votes. Also during the UNGA summit in New York City, he accompanied Ruto with the same agenda. We wish him well in his fight for African leadership.
