Although many leaders have been claiming that it’s time to work for the people until later on before engaging in politics again, they have been going against their own words as they have been aligning themselves well for the 2027 general election. In a funeral event that was attended by former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, Ruto’s team was left paralysed after mourners decided to heckle CS Mituri when he was reading Ruto’s speech. It was a move that no one saw it coming considering the fact that Embu governor is a close ally of President William Ruto and a member of the rulling coalition.
