The President of the republic of Kenya his Excellency William Ruto is currently in the United States of America attending UNGA summit. The summit has brought together several world leaders to discuss issues affecting their continents.
After being offered an opportunity to address the delegations. Ruto did not mince his words. He publicly lectured other Presidents for allegedly failing to fund the Haiti peace mission fully. He claimed that, some administrations have sent their share to the soldiers supporting Haiti, however, others are not really helping at all.

The President continued by throwing in a race card. He asked if Haiti is suffering because of being from the black race, or there is something people are not told.
Something is happening in Haiti that needs our attention. We must be true to our words and engagements. We agreed to fund the mission, however, some countries are yet to chip in despite showing interest and having the ability to do so.
Are they suffering because they are of Black origin? But they are humans too and we should stand with them going forward. ” Said President William Ruto while in New York City, The United States of America.
