The late Kasipul member of Parliament Honorable Charles Were Ong’ondo was a close ally of Orange democratic Party leader Honorable Raila Odinga. In numerous videos, Ong’ondo is heard praising Odinga and defending him in equal measure.
Ong’ondo was close to Raila and he was allowed to be part of the delegation that accompanied him to Addis Ababa Ethiopia for the AU chair position.
Before his assassination, Ong’ondo had asked ODM party officials to wrap his coffin with the Party flag and allow a lot of people to attend his funeral.

Well, detail has emerged of what Odinga was doing today as his friend was being flown to Kasipul for burial tomorrow.
According to the video seen by us, Odinga joined President William Ruto at State House for the special function where Uzima University was awarded a university charter by the President.
Odinga is expected to fly to Homabay and Join other mourners in sending off Charles Were Ong’ondo. Ong’ondo will be laid to rest tomorrow at his home as the investigation about his assassination continues.
