Professor Kithure Kindiki, the current Deputy President of the republic of Kenya. A man who replaced former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua who was impeached by the national assembly and the Senate for allegedly being tribal and only advocating for Mount Kenya region people.
Kindiki, known for his academic prowess was picked by President William Ruto after Gachagua was shown the door. However, there have been reports of the possibility of Ruto replacing him with someone from either Nyanza region or Western. The political game plan is aimed at making sure that the President gets votes from those regions, and replaces those lost after sending away Gachagua.

Well, while speaking in Tharaka Nithi County, Kindiki made it clear his 2027 plan. While addressing his people at his residence, Professor Kindiki without mentioning if he will be Fighting to defend his second in the command seat. Claimed that his focus is strictly on the national Politics. In the 2027 general election, he will be working in making sure that his friend, President William Ruto secures a re-election.
Kindiki Went ahead to ask all local leaders to stop asking him for endorsements. According to him, all those who will be vying are his friends and it will be wrong if he endorses any.
With Kindiki’s Statement, it is sure to say, he is in the united democratic Party to stay and will not be making a move even if he is not picked as a running mate in the coming general election.
