According to the pictures shared both during the meeting and after, Homabay County governor Gladys Wanga who is the ODM party national Chairperson was missing in action.
Her absence has sparked mixed reactions online with Kenyans demanding to know her location and why she missed such a crucial meeting. The first meeting without Raila Odinga.
Many are claiming, she might have missed the meeting because of different political ideologies between her and the party’s secretary general Edwin Sifuna. Sifuna is against the party supporting President William Ruto’s re-election while Wanga is fully in support of the re-election.
It is going to be interesting to watch how things will unfold within the once vibrant opposition party now that the leader is gone and forever he will be cherished. May his soul rest in eternal Peace.
