Orange democratic Party leader Honorable Raila Odinga passed away and is currently on his way to Kenya. The delegation that was dispatched to bring him home is almost touching down at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
Well, as the delegation approaches the airport, the Orange democratic Party has appointed a new party leader to replace Raila Odinga.

According to the Orange democratic Party national executive committee, Dr. Oburu Odinga who is the elder brother to the late Raila Odinga is the new party leader. He will lead the party on an interim basis until the permanent one is named.
Until his death, Odinga was the party leader of the orange democratic Party. He only relinquished his party briefly While going for the AUC seat. He left it to Kisumu County governor Anyang Nyongo.
