The Tranzoia County governor His Excellency George Natembeya is a sad man after his security detail was withdrawn just days after he was attacked in Bungoma County while Campaigning for the Chwele -Kabuchai Ward independent candidate Eric Wekesa.
Speaking through his social media platforms, Natembeya claimed that the withdrawal of the security detail will not Stop him from fighting for the people of the Western region.

According to him, even the security detail of the President was withdrawn when he was the Deputy President of the republic of Kenya but that did not stop him from Fighting for what he believed In as a person.
In a struggle, we must face things like this. Their Target is to make me weak and sell fear to me. I’m not buying that at all. We are going to continue with the journey that I started. Our people must be liberated at all cost and if this is the Price that I must pay for that, then, let it be. ” Said Natembeya.
This is coming just days after prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi warned him of an impending defeat in the 2027 Tranzoia County gubernatorial seat. According to Musalia, the government is going to field a candidate in Tranzoia that will show Natembeya dust. He claimed that the TAWE movement leader is disrespectful and should be taught a lesson.
