Just a few weeks ago, Gachagua was received like a king by residents during the ordination of a new catholic bishop. This came despite not being given a chance to speak.
Well, Embu county is back in the news again, this time round, giving the UDA Party chaiperon hard time.
Governor Cecil Mbarire who is the United Democratic Party Chairperson was forced to stop her speech in Embu. This was during the Embu county annual riders meeting. Those who attended the meeting booed her despite her plea to allow her to conclude the speech.
The organizers of the meeting maintained that it was not a political event hence politicians were not allowed to issue political speeches. In a video seen, Mbarire is seen shocked with the turn of events.
The rising political temperatures in central have been attributed to Rigathi Gachagua who is fighting to control the region ahead of the next general election.
