The President of the republic of Kenya has landed in Mount Kenya region ahead of his tour tomorrow. Him, together with his close aids are in Nyeri county where he is preparing for the grand entry to the region that he has avoided for close to six months now.
Once a darling of the region, Ruto is now struggling to find his footing again. This is after the impeachment of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
Well, contrary to what many expected, the President was welcomed warmly by Nyeri residents leaving Kenyans talking.

According to the video widely shared online. President William Ruto is seen being greeted by jovial Sagana residents. They are seen showing him around ahead of his grand tour tomorrow.
Kenyans have asked former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua to calm down and allow the President to tour the region and bring development to them.
On his end, Gachagua has asked the President not to focus on relaunching the projects once launched by President Uhuru Kenyatta. Speaking in kiambu, Gachagua asked Ruto not to lie to the residents but instead focus on improving their lives truthfully.
