President William Ruto together with his entourage are currently meeting people in Bungoma County. They decided to do a roadside rally after attending a church service there. Everything seemed well until a close ally was given an opportunity to speak. Seemingly angry residents refused to allow him to address them by heckling.
President William Ruto only watched as things unfolded infront of him like a movie. Despite of Honerable Honerable Barasa pleading with residents to allow him speak. They rejected his call until he handed over the mike to other speakers.

Barasa is planning to vie for Bungoma county governor seat. In his recent presser, he made it clear he is going to put up a very vibrant campaign in 2027. He will be facing off with Former governor Wycliffe Wangamati who lost his seat to Ken Lusaka. It will be interesting to watch how things will play out in Bungoma County.
Didmus Barasa is facing charges in court for allegedly shooting someone during 2022 Campaigns. This allegations have been haunting him and it is expected to play a bigger part in his gubernatorial dream.
