Natembeya Drops Bombshell Revelation on Alleged 2007 Vote Manipulation
NAIROBI, Kenya — Trans Nzoia County Governor George Natembeya has stirred widespread debate across the country following explosive claims regarding the controversial 2007 presidential election results.
In a video that has quickly gone viral on social media, Governor Natembeya revealed that opposition candidate Raila Odinga’s victory was allegedly stolen at Harambee House in favor of the late former President Mwai Kibaki.
According to Natembeya, he was serving under the late Internal Security Minister John Michuki during the volatile 2007 election period.
The governor claimed he personally witnessed political operatives affiliated with Kibaki manipulate tally figures inside Harambee House before the final declaration was made by the Electoral Commission of Kenya.

“Raila won that election by a very large margin, but political figures allied to Kibaki altered the numbers to overturn his victory,” Natembeya asserted in the viral video, sending shockwaves through the political landscape.
A Remained Scar on Kenya’s Political History
The 2007 presidential election remains one of the darkest chapters in Kenya’s democratic history. Following the disputed declaration of Kibaki as the winner, widespread post-election violence erupted, resulting in the loss of over 1,000 lives and the displacement of hundreds of thousands of citizens.
The political stalemate was eventually resolved through international mediation led by the late former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan.
The mediation culminated in a historic power-sharing coalition agreement where Kibaki retained the presidency while Raila Odinga assumed the newly established position of Prime Minister.
