Kalonzo Claims Ruto Offering KSh 1 Billion Bounty to Drag Him into Kenya Kwanza
NAIROBI, Kenya — Former Vice President and Wiper Democratic Movement leader Kalonzo Musyoka has sent shockwaves across the political landscape after alleging that President William Ruto’s administration is offering a massive monetary bounty to lure him into government.
Speaking to supporters shortly after resurfacing following intense media speculation surrounding his political stance, the veteran opposition figure claimed that a bounty of KSh 1 billion has been placed on his head for anyone capable of convincing him to defect to the ruling Kenya Kwanza coalition.
Allegations of Political Inducement
According to video footage circulating across digital platforms, Musyoka made the explosive statements while reassuring his political base that his allegiance to the opposition remains firm.
The Wiper leader asserted that intermediaries and political emissaries have been mobilized with hefty financial incentives to orchestrate his transition into the government fold.

“They are offering one billion shillings to anyone who can successfully deliver Kalonzo to Kenya Kwanza,” Musyoka stated, reaffirming that his integrity and political principles cannot be purchased with state funds.
