Embakasi East Member of Parliament, Babu Owino, has once again captured national attention after a dramatic show of political strength in Kisumu.
This follows earlier warnings from a section of leaders and residents who had cautioned him against setting foot in the lakeside city.
Despite the threats, Owino made a bold appearance, walking through the streets as supporters cheered him on.
In a video that has since gone viral across social media platforms, Owino is seen moving through Nyalenda estate, surrounded by a large group of enthusiastic supporters.
The crowd, chanting slogans and singing, appeared energized by his presence. According to witnesses, the legislator was initially in his car before allies insisted that he step out and walk among them, a move that further electrified the moment.
The footage also captures tense moments where individuals believed to be hostile quickly disperse as Owino and his supporters advance. His allies maintained a tight formation around him, ensuring his security while projecting confidence and dominance.
