The Democracy For The Citizens Party has been encountering goons attacks in their meetings. Their meetings have either been marked with teargas being thrown at them or rather goons attacking them in presence of Police officers.
While returning from the United States of America, Gachagua was even forced to cancel his meeting at Kamukunji grounds after youths attacked his motorcade. He even Went straight home without addressing Kenyans who had gathered to listen to him.
Well, it seems like the same script is playing out again. According to the video which has been shared online, goons are seen attacking DCP party meetings.
According to the video shared online, the goons attacked Hon. Mukunji together with DCP party aspirant Mbui in Mbeere North. All was well as DCP party mounted campaigns in the region ahead of the expected by- Election in November.

A few minutes later, youths armed with crude weapons arrived chanting pro government songs. They demanded that hon. Mukunji together with his people leave Mbeere North immediately.
They became violent throwing stones and dust at the convoy forcing leaders to run for their lives. Police officers arrived, lobbied teargas forcing youths to run to safety.
Kenyans have pointed fingers at the government for undermining the opposition team through intimidation and goons. Youths have been asked to uphold integrity and not to be used by politicians to fight their battles.
