Video: Gachagua Reveals What He Told Sifuna On Call After Successful Bungoma Rally
Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has revealed details of a phone conversation he had with Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna following a massive rally in Bungoma County.
Speaking during an interview with radio stations in Meru, Gachagua disclosed that he personally reached out to the former Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Secretary General to commend him on the turnout and impact of the event.

He shared that he commended the lawmaker for executing a well-received campaign and urged him to maintain the momentum in championing the concerns of ordinary citizens.
“I called Sifuna after seeing what happened in Bungoma. I told him, ‘Congratulations on a very successful rally.’ I encouraged him to keep that same spirit going,” Gachagua revealed during the Meru broadcast.
Gachagua’s public praise for Sifuna comes at a time of shifting political realignments across the country. His comments highlight growing attention toward independent political movements and opposition figures capable of drawing significant public enthusiasm outside traditional government structures.
