Edwin Sifuna Received Like A King In Kitale Ahead Of Linda Mwananchi Rally
MOI’S BRIDGE, KENYA — Former Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Secretary-General and Nairobi Senator, Honorable Edwin Sifuna, was treated to a royal reception at Moi’s Bridge as he entered Trans Nzoia County, marking a major milestone in his high-profile political tour.
Hundreds of enthusiastic supporters thronged the busy junction to welcome Sifuna. Singing victory chants and waving placards, the energized crowd briefly brought traffic to a standstill as they escorted the lawmaker in a heroic motorcade, demonstrating solid grassroots support for his political ambitions ahead of the 2027 General Election.
Sifuna was accompanied by a host of regional heavyweights, most notably Trans Nzoia Governor His Excellency George Natembeya.

The two leaders addressed the ecstatic crowd at Moi’s Bridge before proceeding into Kitale town, where Sifuna is slated to conduct extensive whistle-stop tours across various sub-counties.
The visit forms part of the wide-reaching Linda Mwananchi rallies designed to rally popular opposition across the country.
However, all eyes are on the expected major declaration regarding Sifuna’s 2027 presidential ambition. The senator is slated to make key political statements during his Kitale tour, laying the foundation for a official declaration.
The political fervor is expected to peak tomorrow when the delegation moves to neighboring Bungoma County, where Sifuna will make his much-anticipated declaration.
Local political analysts view the Western region as a critical battleground, and residents across the region are charging up to witness the unfolding reshuffle in the country’s political landscape.
With regional leaders such as Governor Natembeya aligning by his side, Sifuna’s campaign momentum appears to be gathering significant steam in the Western region ahead of 2027.
