Aaron Cheruiyot Exposes Gachagua and Kalonzo in Explosive Bomet Speech
Senate Majority Leader Aaron Cheruiyot has sparked widespread online debate after launching a scathing attack against former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
Speaking during a public engagement in Bomet County, the Kericho Senator made sensational claims regarding the political maneuvers of the opposition leaders behind closed doors.
According to Cheruiyot, while Gachagua and Kalonzo publicly criticize President William Ruto during the day, their posture changes significantly behind the scenes.
The Senate Majority Leader alleged that the duo frequently make night phone calls to State House, seeking audiences and attempting to negotiate a political “handshake” with the Head of State.

Cheruiyot claimed that their aggressive public posturing is merely a front designed to gain leverage for private negotiations.
“They oppose the administration in daylight, but when night falls, they are on the phone pleading with President Ruto for a handshake and political favors,” Cheruiyot declared to the crowd in Bomet.
Cheruiyot did not hold back in his criticism of former Deputy President Gachagua, accusing him of practicing sectarian and divisive politics.
He described Gachagua as a figure driven by tribal politics who cannot be accommodated in any future progressive administration.
Moving forward, Cheruiyot cautioned residents and leaders from the Mount Kenya region against aligning with Gachagua, urging the region to reject his political trajectory in favor of national unity.
The Majority Leader’s remarks quickly gained traction on social media platforms, drawing mixed reactions across the political divide.
While supporters lauded Cheruiyot for calling out perceived political hypocrisy, critics dismissed the claims as a political distraction aimed at undermining opposition unity.
