Trouble For Ruto In Riftvalley Just Days After Receiving Gideon Moi To Government

A few days ago, Kenyans were left shocked after President William Ruto and KANU Party leader Honorable Gideon Moi agreed to work together after long years of political hostility.

The meeting at State House Nairobi between Moi and Ruto led to the subsequent meeting in Kabarak after Gideon Moi pulled out of the senatorial by-election. He explained that he had to listen to the President because he was elected by Kenyans and his vision is good for his people in Baringo County.

Well, despite managing to convince Gideon Moi to pull out the race, there is a problem In Baringo for President William Ruto to solve. Account to the candidate, Daniel Kipchirchir. UDA Party officials are threatening him to drop out of the race against his will.

He has claimed to have received numerous threats from people pressuring him to step down so that not to embarrass the President in the by-election which is a must win for the head of state.

Those allied to him have vowed to teach United Democratic party candidate Chemitei a lesson on the ballot. If they manage to defeat him, it will be a political blow to President William Ruto who is working so hard to consolidate the rift valley region ahead of the 2027 general election.

Umoja Maendeleo Party (UMP) Senate candidate Daniel Kipchirchir Kirui claims to have received intimidation and threats from UDA leaders to withdraw from the Baringo by-election but vows not to step down in favor of UDA candidate Vincent Chemitei.” Report.

On the other hand, KANU youths have distanced themselves from the agreement between Ruto and Gideon Moi m they are claiming that the agreement is against the party constitution and they don’t recognize it at all. Gideon Moi will have to move with speed and keep his house in order before he suffers a political alienation from the residents of Baringo
