The Orange democratic Party Secretary general Senator Edwin Sifuna left Kenyans shocked with his remarks during the burial of Jirongo.
Speaking in Lumakanda, the vibrant and combative senator took his time to respond to the allegations against him. He was accused of being used by former President Uhuru Kenyatta to destroy ODM party.
Sifuna denied the allegations and even went ahead to ask for forgiveness from Uhuru Kenyatta on behalf of ODM.
During that process, Sifuna turned the heat again on the government of the day claiming that Jirongo was Killed.

Accordingto him, he was killed to send a message to those who are fighting the government. He claimed In a video that even if they want to kill him, he is ready and will not fear anyone.
Sifuna went on to retaliate that Raila Odinga did not tell people to Join the two term brigade. He asked them to prepare for the 2027 general election and the ODM party had manpower to fund a presidential candidate.
He therefore asked those selling fear and miss information about Raila Odinga to Stop doing that and instead, focus on selling the right agenda.
Uhuru responded to the allegations from Junet Mohammed and his team. He asked them to stop doing that and void using his name for person political gains.
