Nakuru County governor Her Excellency Susan Kihika travelled to the United States of America months ago to give birth. He absence from work for almost six months raised questions within Nakuru County as Kenyans demanded to know her state.
Eventually, she jetted back to the country with her twins. The seasoned politician now has angered Kenyans after revealing why she decided to give birth in the USA instead of Nakuru County.

According to Susan Kihika, it would have been immoral for Junior doctors to assist her in giving birth. Therefore, it was a good decision to just head to the United States of America and deliver her twins there.
Her remarks have however landed her in trouble with Kenyans going after her. Some have asked her to retract the statement and apologize to the people of Nakuru who are unable to get even quality services in Nakuru.
Some are asking her to focus her energy on improving health facilities in the county instead of mocking them by admitting herself to the United States of America hospitals.
