Just after Catholics Bishop rejected his donations and promised to return his money. Another offer he gave out has been rejected again.
Yesterday, on November 18, 2024. Bishop Anyolo ordered the funds donated by President William Ruto and Nairobi County governor Johnson Sakaja returned to them. He even declined a three million pledge made by the President for the construction of clergy’s residence.
Well, before even the dust settles. Another influential person has turned down an offer from President William Ruto.

According to reports, Mr. Hussein Tene Debaso has turned down an offer by President William Ruto to serve as a board member of National Youth Service.
Before his appointment to the NYS board, Mr. Hussein was sucked by President William Ruto as Kenya National Trading Cooperation chairperson. He has not given any reasons for his decision.
” I Hussein Tene Debaso, immediate Chairperson Kenya National Trading Cooperation, wish to thankfully acknowledge my appointment as member of the board, Kenya National Youths Service vide the gazette notice, October 15, 2024. A position that have written to the president of the republic of Kenya declining it.” Said Debaso.
