Yesterday, on November 18, 2024. President William Ruto’s donation in a Catholic church was rejected. The donation of over 3 million and a pledge of about another three million was turned down by archdiocese of Nairobi.
In a letter seen by us, from the group governing catholic churches. They stated the reason for their rejection was the funds were politically donated. They asked President William Ruto to focus on service delivery, stopping abductions, controlling lying culture among other things.
Well, the head of state has opened up just hours after his money was returned to him and his future pledges rejected.

According to the president, who was speaking while at the statehouse, he is going to transform Kenya until its enemy is surprised. He is focused on delivering the promises he made to Kenyans and nothing is going to stop him from achieving that.
He asked Kenyans to continue praying for him and his government as he works for them. Ruto asked Cabinet Secretaries and principal secretaries to work for the people and fulfil their mandate as per the signed agreement.
The government officials were at State House where they signed a working contract that will be evaluated to see how committed they are.
Although the president did not clearly respond to the clergy. Political analysts have evaluated his speech as an answer to the clergy and those people criticizing his administration.
