President of the republic of Kenya Dr. William Ruto has finally addressed the issue of abductions in the country.
This is coming hours after Embu county youths staged demonstrations demanding for the release of digital influencers. The influencer Mwangi was allegedly picked up by armed people for allegedly attacking the government online.
Well, Ruto has spoken on the issue with a special message to parents. He has asked parents to take good care of their children since they are special and are gifts from God.

He continued by declaring that he will end abductions in the country and youths will continue living without fear of being picked by armed people.
I want to ask parents to take good care of their kids. They are a blessing from God and we love them. I’m going to make sure there are no abductions going forward and our people are going to live in peace henceforth. ” Said President William Ruto.
Speaking at the same event, Raila Odinga asked Ruto to develop a thick skin and not be bothered by what is said online. He cited his case claiming that he has been abused several times but he does not hate those who attack him.” Said Raila Odinga
