Former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i has announced a high-profile political engagement scheduled for Sunday, September 27, 2026, in Narok County as opposition forces continue to step up their nationwide outreach.
The visit will bring together key leaders from distinct political factions, signaling expanding efforts to build broad alignment across different platforms.
According to the official itinerary, the day’s activities will begin with a church service alongside local faithful at the Dominion Church in Olerai.
Following the morning worship, the delegation will embark on a comprehensive Meet the People Tour within Narok Town, engaging directly with residents and community leaders.
Matiang’i will be joined by Siaya Governor James Orengo, People’s Party of Kenya leader and Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro, and Jubilee Party Secretary General Moitalel Ole Kenta, who is hosting the delegation in the region.
The inclusion of Orengo, a prominent figure in the Linda Mwananchi movement, along with Nyoro and the host leadership, underlines a strategic convergence of varied political networks.
The Narok engagement comes shortly after discussions between key opposition figures aimed at fostering greater collaboration on pressing national issues.
