“My dear wife, Gloria Sekeiyan Khalwale, has this morning suddenly collapsed and died after a heart attack,” the Kakamega Senator shared.
The late Gloria Sekeiyan was a cherished family figure and the mother of eight of the senator’s children: Engine Kukaste Khalwale, Olivia Sabayi Khalwale, Flavia Shimuli Khalwale, Gift Atubukha Khalwale, Meliza Khamwenyi Khalwale, Velma Nasiebanda Khalwale, Sonia Inuni Khalwale, and Maura Makatse Khalwale.
Following the announcement, a wave of heartfelt condolences poured in from fellow political leaders, public figures, and residents of Kakamega County, all offering support to Dr. Khalwale and his family as they navigate this profound loss.
