Raila’s Diehard Supporter Dumps Him, Joins Gachagua In A Dramatic Move

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua seems to be gaining ground more ahead of the 2027 general election.

Since the launch of his party DCP a few days ago, he has been on the move meeting various political figures in anticipation of a possible coalition. Well, today, he met a trusted Raila ally leaving Kenyans talking.

According to the photos shared online. Kholera ward member of county assembly aspirant, Nuru Okanga met Gachagua at his home. This is a significant switch keeping in mind Okanga has been singing Raila’s tune for along time. He has been defending the opposition leader in various meetings, including Jacaranda grounds.

Will this have a significant impact on Raila influence come 2027? Many political analysts have claimed, despite Okanga not being an elected leader, his shift will have an impact on Odinga since he is vocal and vibrant.
