The 2027 general election will be interesting to watch. Political activities are intensifying in the country with leaders across the political divide moving around trying to convince their people to either elect them or reelect them in Their current positions.
The big battle is expected between President William Ruto and his former ally Rigathi Gachagua. Gachagua is determined to send Ruto home, while Ruto on the other side is fighting to be reelected again.
The main factor in the political game plan is Raila Odinga. The Man who has a huge following across the country despite failing to clinch the seat severally.

Well, according to Energy Cabinet Secretary Opiyo Wandai who is a close ally of Raila Odinga. Raila has instructed them to support President William Ruto’s re-election bid in the 2027 general election. He continued by claiming that they will not abandon the President and will continue asking their people to support the President heavily.
“Mr. President, I want to confirm here today, our Party leader Mr. Raila Odinga has instructed us to support you all the way to 2032. We are going to do exactly that, and our people will stand by you to the last person. We don’t joke, we mean what we say.” Said Opiyo Wandai.
